A Hall of a Different Color

6 Comments/ 72/ 0

I LOVE Hall pottery and specifically Hall teapots. I really need to dig through all of my stored teapots and gather them all up and make a display of them sometime. That would require some work but it would be worth it in the end.

I found this beauty on eBay awhile ago and it was a fair price and I don’t have one in my collection with this type of lid or shape so I was happy when I won the auction.

It’s a pretty shade of rose, I guess, and is the perfect little brewing and pouring teapot. Sometimes simple is the best in the teapot world.

This one shows a little bit of wear and use but I love it and am so happy to have found yet another perfect addition for my massive collection.

“Some people will tell you there is a great deal of  poetry and fine sentiment in a chest of tea.”

— Ralph Waldo Emerson

A lovely addition to your collection. That is quite a unique top. I think it would be perfect for rooibos tea.

I like the design of the top part and love the quote from Emerson.
