Teapot TuesdayPlace is here and my find came from Pike Place Market in Seattle. There was an amazing collection of teapots and tea accessories. I had a difficult time choosing which one was going to come home with me in my carry on. Fortunately Chris helped me choose this cute octopus teapot. It fits right in with my beach theme in my bathroom, don’t you think?
The salesgirl told me that they had sold 5 or 6 of these teapots in the past week. I guess I have a hot seller on my hands.
Just look at those tentacles!
It is definitely a fun teapot and one that will remind me of our trip to Seattle and the fabulous market.
What kind of tea do you think I should brew in this one? I am sure you can come up with a creative kind so share it with me in the comments. Remember that our comments this month go to support Special Books by Special Kids. You can read more about that here.
Anne…. was so pale and tragic at breakfast next morning that Marilla was alarmed and insisted on making her a cup of scorching ginger tea. Anne sipped it patiently, although she could not imagine what good ginger tea would do. Had it been some magic brew, potent to confer age and experience, Anne would have swallowed a quart of it without flinching. ~Lucy Maud Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

Leave a commentOooooh…..I would have had a difficult time choosing between that one and the blue and white one with coral!
The blue and white coral one was one I got in Cocoa Beach a couple years ago. Isn’t it beautiful? I need to do a round up of my beach themed teapots, don’t I?
I LOVE THIS TEAPOT!!!!!
Isn’t it great? 🙂
That’s the greatest value in your teapots, I think. They connect to memories and hold stories.
You are correct in that. So many memories associated with so many of my teapots. Someone asked me if I would have a difficult time getting rid of them when I needed to downsize and some of them I would be choosy about but the ones that hold the closest place to my heart are the ones that have been given to me by family and friends.
Too fun! Love the colors!
He is so unique!! I love all of them in your bathroom
I love it!!
This is a spectacular teapot and from my favourite place, Pike´s Place Market in Seattle!! It fits in well with your bathroom beach collection. I think you could brew a lemon spice tea in it as you eat fish and chips!
Oh my gosh it’s adorable! I really like the white one with the blue coral winding around the pot. And I definitely want that letter block about sandy feet! Ha.
I think a sea themed pot calls for a chai type of tea perhaps? Brings to mind images of the Far East and how tea would have been shipped across the ocean to the New World.
Oh Chai would be perfect! You always have the right idea! Thanks!
You always find the coolest teapots!
You just have to look! They are everywhere!
