A Star is Born Thanks to Pearly Whites

17 Comments/ 89/ 1

Star?

Pearly Whites?

I haven’t totally lost it.

Yet.

Let me introduce you to our latest star.

Penny aka Lady Penelope got his first advertising gig!

Yes –that is Penny our Grand Corgi. She is now officially a star but we are not letting it go to her head. Her dad, our oldest son Micah, took her to the appointment where she spent 2 hours being a princess and following all the commands and it won her a place on the packaging of Frontline Oral Defense Chews for Small Dogs.

We are very excited.

We found out the product was released when we were all together last week at the beach and of course we were thrilled to see her face gracing those packages. They don’t seem to be widely available quite yet but I did find some on Walmart.com here.

I have to share a few more photos of Penny from the beach. I think you will agree she is very photogenic.

Patiently waiting for me to get ready to go.

Hanging out on the bed with me while I read.

Grandma, pay attention to me!!!! Stop reading! Pet me !

Penny has brought so much joy to our family and we are thrilled for her “career”. Please follow her adventures on Instagram by going to her page at @ladypennythecorgi.

I promise you will be entertained with her antics. What is your favorite dog breed? Leave me a comment and remember that each comment on any post this month means a 50 cent donation to our Comments for A Cause — Wounded Warrior Project. You can read more about that by clicking here.

She is such a sweet dog and really loves the beach so when we can get a pet friendly place we do. And she does have amazingly beautiful teeth as you can tell. 🙂

Yay for Lady Penny! How fun and she is a sweetheart. My niece has a corgi and we all love her. My favorite dog is whichever mutt is part of the family, but I’m partial to labs or Golden’s.

She is a sweetheart indeed! I love mutts as well! Chris had labs growing up and there might be one in our future one day when he retires but time will tell! Almost any dog is a good dog, right?

Congratulations, Lady Penny! She is a perfect model for the dog chews! I love all dogs but my favourote dog right now is a Spanish Bodeguero, part Jack Russell and part Fox Terrier. And my favourite bodeguero is Dot! I think Dot and Penny would love to play together. xo

Dot is the perfect type of dog and I did not know what breed she was until now so now I know what to call her ! Great mix and I know she has brought much joy to your lives.

So neat!! What a cute star in your family too! I absolutely can see why she was chosen to be a cover girl. I’m not an ardent doggie person but my favorite pooch is my son’s Britanny whose name is Barley. He’s a sweetheart and loves on me every time we’re together, even crawling up in my lap. And he’s certainly not a lap dog!

She is adorable and has quite the personality as well. I love that name — Barley! Perfect dog name.

She is adorable! I just went and followed her on Instagram. I guess you already know my favorite dog breed, but corgis are also high on my short list.

I love Penny. She’s so adorable and very time I show Ally pictures of her she begs me even harder to get a corgi. She wants one so bad. I don’t think I have a favorite dog breed per se but I’m very partial to German Shepherds. ❤️

I think you need a corgi in your life! I am sure your sweet Audrey would love a playmate, right?

Congrats to Penny and the whole family! I just love her! We had a corgi when I was in high school and he was the sweetest, named Rudy. He laid the same way as Penny too!

Penny is precious, teeth and all. I don’t blame the family for being so proud of her.

At the moment my favorite breed is a mini Australian Shepherd! Her name is Luna and she is our sons dog. They live with us still so she’s always close by.

What a terrific story! Such an honor for dear Penny to be a star! She may demand royal treatment now…but I have a feeling that she’s probably already getting that! Love the pic of you and Penny on the couch. So sweet!
