A Tea Advent Calendar on Teapot Tuesday

7 Comments/ 361/ 0

It goes without saying that I had to have an Advent calendar of my own this year to complement the Advent calendar I got for my cats. How could I let them have something to look forward to and not include myself in that? So this year I got another tea calendar to help count down the days until Christmas.

I can’t remember where I ordered this one from but almost every tea company out there has their own version. I really like this one that I got this year because each day has a different to me tea bag to use and so far I have loved all the offerings. Some of them are black teas and some are more herbal blends or detox blends which is probably a good thing for me to have during this time of the year when I seem to indulge in things that may not be all that healthy.

Of course the Parisian theme is honestly what drew me in – thank goodness there is also an English translation or I would be clueless as to what I was drinking each day.

My normal thing is to enjoy a nice cup of Advent tea calendar tea in the afternoon around 3 pm for Tea Time. I have been trying to intentionally sit and drink a nice cup and enjoy it instead of just drinking it. Does that make sense? If you are a tea drinker you understand that it is all about the experience. So that is my goal to be intentional about enjoying my tea every day.

Maksim likes tea as well and it reminds me of how many times I used to find Buddy sipping my tea when I wasn’t paying attention. I suspect some flavors are more appealing to cats than others.

I hope today you find a moment or two of quiet and calm and that if tea is your go to beverage you find time to enjoy the perfect cuppa.
