Tis the season for sneezing and allergies. This year has been the worse I have ever experienced. This morning I headed down to the dock to have my morning coffee and have some quiet time. I have had such a busy week and it was just a half hour that I felt I needed to have to start my morning.
I was greeted with this.
Can you see all that “stuff” floating on the water?

Oh my goodness. No wonder I am sneezing, coughing and having watery eyes. I love to be outside and this is absolutely my favorite time of the year but holy cow–what a mess.
It reminded me of one of Theo’s favorite books that we read when we visit. Chuy’s Day by Neil Gaiman is a delightful book about a panda named Chuy who has a big sneeze. If you have a little one I would recommend this one. It is just a cute book and one that your little one will love.
So I keep using my allergy aids and know that everyone has this right now and we will get through it. Hang in there, friends, if you are an allergy sufferer like me. We will get through it.
Have a fabulous weekend.

Leave a commentIt’ s been my worst reaction and increased by changes in location from other parts of world. It started in New Zealand and came home with me and then I added travel through blooming fields of plants in England. It’s been many Kleenex and cough drops. I think I am sharing local pollen now.
Achoo! God Bless You!
My sister has somewhat similar issues with the pollen in the spring. She found out, during covid, that when she wears a mask outside her allergies are much much less…so now she’s doing that even though the risk of covid itself is much lower. She can even mow the grass if she wears a mask! She lives in AL.
I’ve never had to deal with allergies much myself but this year it seems to be bothering me a lot more then usual.
The book by Neil Gaiman sounds so cute. I didn’t realize he wrote a young children’s book. But everything he does is fabulous. I hope your sneezing season is over soon. xo
Hope it get better soon for you & everyone. I too have seen a different this year for me. Chuck has had these problems for a very long time but not so much me. Now I am having some problems with it.
I’m sorry you deal with allergies. Not fun.
