Book and a Cuppa Swap Reveal

16 Comments/ 3124/ 0

Book and Cuppa Swap update. I am late. I am late.  And not for an important date but instead for the reveal of my Book and A Cuppa Swap that I did with the wonderful ladies at Chaotic Goddesses!  Book and Cuppa SwapI love the swaps I have done with this group and this one was no exception.  Life kind of got in the way so I was late in getting my package out to my lovely swap partner because we had a foot of snow and NOTHING moves in my neighborhood with that kind of snow.  She was very gracious about it and did not complain one bit that my package got delivered later than I had hoped.

My partner this time turned out to be none other than Judy who blogs at Knottyneedle.  Don’t you love the name of her blog?  Well, come to find out Judy used to live in Raleigh up until a few years ago and now is living in the great state of Montana.  Judy is all about quilting and knitting and doing fun creative projects and I am loving finding out more about her by following her blog.  You can check out what I sent her by clicking here to go to that post.

I ended up being gone for 10 days and wouldn’t you know it –my swap box was waiting for me when I got home so I was one happy lady, trust me! swap4I could hardly wait to dig into my box and guess what I found?  All kinds of wonderfulness, that’s what.swap3Judy nailed it.  She got me a book on my “wanted” list – another one in the Tea Shop Mystery series that I love by Laura Childs.  This is one of those series that I never get tired of and I am trying to get them all in my collection.  Along with the fun mystery and characters in these books are recipes that I always mark to make for later.  I just need to do it.Swap

The package also included the following:

2 wonderful packages of Montana tea.  I have actually had the Evening in Missoula tea before and LOVED it so I am super excited to get another bag of it.

3 flowering tea balls which I can not wait to use in my clear teapot.  They are so lovely to watch unfurl but even better the tea is amazing.

A set of sticky notes with a travel theme.  Judy guessed that I love sticky notes and the travel theme is spot on.

Chocolate toffee –oh my. Two of my weaknesses in one little bar of deliciousness.  I might save that for the beach….but then again….maybe not.

A bonus book that she had on her shelf got included because it had teacups on it.  How perfect is that?  I am super excited to read this one as well and have it already packed for the beach trip.

And finally look at this lovely.swap2My tea is going to taste so awesome out of this cup. It is delicate but sturdy at the same time and Judy understood what I meant exactly when she asked what I used to drink tea.  I have clear cups I love to use for tea and I do not use any of my coffee mugs for tea drinking.  Either teacups or clear cups for me and now I have this beautiful one to use every morning when I have my cuppa.

Special thanks to Judy for her wonderful gifts and for going the extra mile to make sure the items were perfect.  I loved each item and was thrilled to receive the package.

It’s going to be a great week.  I am back at home for a few days trying to catch up before I leave again but there will be more fun things coming up on the blog this week.  Don’t forget to Comment for a Cause. The Cupid’s Undie Run was a huge success this past weekend but the fundraising goes on.
