Feeling Grateful on Teapot Tuesday

36 Comments/ 395/ 0

Teapot Tuesday is so much fun for me to share with my readers.

It may be a teapot.

It may be a new tea that I have added to the collection.

It may even be a tea themed book.

But when I get a new teapot gifted to me by a very special friend it makes it even better.

I received a really sweet package in the mail this week from fellow blogger and friend Dianna who blogs at These Days of Mine.  I have followed Dianna for quite awhile and love her blog.  One of her passions is photographing the wild  horses at Corolla.   She is so talented and has captured some pretty amazing images over the years.

She so inspired me that I chose the Corolla Wild Horse Fund for a recent Comments for a Cause.

In typical Dianna fashion she sent me a thank you gift that arrived this week.  She had looked long and hard for the perfect little teapot and here it is.

Just look at these details.  I adore it and it is such a sweet reminder of my friendship with a very special lady.  I am so grateful that our paths are crossed on the inter webs and I am so looking forward to the day when we can finally meet in person.  It WILL happen.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Dianna.

“The very sight of a teapot puts a smile on the face of most people. One cannot help but think of more serene and genteel times. From a whimsical child’s teapot to an elegant English Teapot, to collectible teapots that adorn some homes, they are a subtle reminder of all that is good in this world.” ~ Barbara Roberts

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
