feelingbeachiebutton 200x200It is Friday and that means I am joining up with Hilary over at Feeling Beachie to join in the weekly blog hop.  I am so glad that Hilary does this every week!  It is a great way to meet other bloggers and have a fun post.  This week my sweet niece, Carla, who blogs over at Random Ramblngs is the co-host and came up with the last two statements.   Yay!

The statements:

  1. Don’t you love when you get to spend _____
  2. I wish there was a were ____ but I would settle for ____.
  3. When I hear the word ____ I always think of ____
  4.  My dream ___ is ____My answers:
    1. Don’t you love when you get to spend an entire day with someone you love doing exactly what you both love to do?
    2. I wish there was or were 20 hours of sunshine in a day  but I would settle for just a couple more hours each day.
    3. When I hear the word verklempt I always think of my former boss, the amazing Dr. Rev. Mark Ralls.
    4.  My dream of going someplace warm again is approaching quickly!!! Toes in sand time!

The best thing about going on vacation is planning it and then enjoying it.

You totally taught me a new word today. I’d never seen that word, “verklempt.” Never too old to learn something new.

I didn’t know that Carla was your niece! how nice… will definitely go back and make sure I click that follow button.
Hubby and I have an actual date night tonight – with some other couples we know. So that kinda fits #1, because we don’t often get to do that. All the husbands are shift workers, so it is very rare for us all to have the same Friday night off. The stars have aligned!! LOL
#4. jealous. my mom just told me she is going to Florida for 2 weeks in April. again. wonder if I hold my breath like I did when I was 2, if she’d take me along? ha, not likely.

Yep–she is my sister’s daughter. Mother to my sweet great niece Harper! Hope your date night went well! I bet it is difficult to get time like that between kids and shift work but I hope you had a great night!

Don’t come here – no toes in sand weather right now that’s for sure!!! You may have to go a little further south! 🙂 I’d love to have a few more hours in the day or at least need less sleep to get things like blogging done!

I am sure your new position is keeping you really busy!!! I can imagine you are feeling a bit stretched about now between work and kids. It is a big jump to go back to work and still manage all the stuff that goes with having a family. But I am sure you can do it!
