Friday Fill Ins Mid Way Through the Day!

14 Comments/ 2683/ 0

I have been a smidge bit busy lately.   Traveling, a wonderful visit from my sister and then more travel and I have been off of my bloggy routine.  Please please forgive me!!   I have a giveaway in the works so stay tuned…it may post tomorrow….so again I say….stay tuned!!

I am going to play along with Hilary today and do her Friday Fill Ins and link to Java at Never Growing Old.   Better late than never, right???

Here it goes:

Each week, Hilary lists  four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to her  at feelingbeachie(at) gmail (dot) com. If she  uses them, she will add you as co-host to the hop!

Co -host this week is Bernie from One Mixed Bag  she submitted the last two statements!  And I LOVE Bernie!!!

This week’s statements:

  1. I despise the expression_______
  2. I put _____ on my burgers
  3. If I could have any view out my kitchen window it would be ___________
  4. If money were no object I would _____________________
  1. I despise the expression “whatever”.   Enough said. No elaboration needed.

2.  I put lettuce, tomato and mayo on my burgers.

  1. If I could have any view out of my kitchen window it would be the beach.  When we lived in Australia we lived on the beach –yep–on the Coral Sea.   The kitchen did not look out that direction, however.  Actually the kitchen had an open window that looked out into the entry way of the house and the jungle beyond that……The back view was MUCH better and I miss the beach a lot.  I do not miss the work associated with living in a house on the beach.  Salt air destroys everything.

4.  If money were no object I would give to every worthy cause that comes across my doorstep.  I would be a philanthropist extraordinaire .  I actually had a fortune one time that read that I would be a great philanthropist so who knows!!!  I mean–don’t  you believe every fortune you have ever gotten in a fortune cookie????

Don’t forget Comment for a Cause winds up its month here in a few days with the monies going to UMCOR for spring storm relief which has escalated in the number of storms.   Check out my post here for more info.

I like tomatoes on my hamburger too! Not the lettuce though!

You lived in Australia? How cool is that?!!

I’m guilty of “whatever”. But only if someone is trying to get one up on me and won’t shut up!

    Bernie rocks!

    Came over from Feeling Beachie’s.

Visiting from Feeling Beachie. We don’t like the same thing on our burgers, but at least we both like burgers! And living in Australia – I am sure you have stories. And thanks for the reality check of the maintenance of living on the beach. Maybe it’ll help me appreciate my grass and tree view :).

I hate whatever too! Unless you live on the beach, you don’t understand how much work is associated with it.. Nothing lasts. We recently bought new “stainless steel” outside heaters. They probably have been on the deck for two months, and already they are fully rusted…. UGH!

EXACTLY!!!! I know exactly what you are talking about!!! I had some stainless steel salt and pepper grinders that never went outside but they even rusted in the short time we were there!!! It is lovely but a lot of work!!!!!

‘Whatever’ gets on my last nerve too. But ‘it is what it is’ gets on my last nerve and jumps up and down! LOL

“Whatever” just sends me screaming into the night! And worse is getting it in a teenage texting response! Grrrr!

What an awesome opportunity to live in Australia! How long were you there??

Now I have a taste for a burger! I have a nice view of Lake Erie from my office window (actually, it’s my boss’s office window but I can look out of it).
