Grimacing Pollyanna

25 Comments/ 2573/ 0

Time to join in Hilary’s blog hop over at Feeling Beachie!   You won’t want to miss it!!!  Hop on over and join up and meet some new buddies!!!  Hilary is the best!!!!  And her Friday blog hop is a great one!!! Thanks, Hilary!

1.       I can’t stand when people say ____

2.       If you are going to __ please___

3.       Call me a _____ because ______

4.       If I had a dollar for every time I heard ______, I swear I’d be a millionaire by now.

My answers:

1.       I can’t stand when people say it is what it is.  Grrrrrr.  (Get it–that is Grimace–what I do when people say that!)

2.       If you are going to wear skimpy clothing please make sure you have the body for it.  Eeewwww. (Gonna spare you a pic on this one—you all know what I am talking about!)

3.       Call me a Pollyanna  because I am eternally optimistic and believe that people will be honest and do the right thing.

4.       If I had a dollar for every time I heard “are you two twins?”, I swear I’d be a millionaire by now.

Don’t  forget my give away of a great journal (your choice) —go to this post to find out the what and how!!!!

Really, you believe people will always be honest and do the right thing? I’m about 50% Pollyanna. I believe some people will do the right & honest thing part of the time and the other simply choose to not to the moral thing. Sad, but it’s true! Linking up via Hilary’s 4F meme…~Cathy

People call me Mr. Rogers sometimes because I always say, “it is such a beautiful day,” even when it is nasty and cold out.

It is what it is. Oh, I loathe that, too, and my husband says it all the time in response to unpleasant circumstances. Makes me want to scream!

Great picture of the “twins”! Funny because Paula and I get asked if we are sisters! LOL Does that make us triplets????

unfortunately, having worked in a men’s federal prison and being married to a cop…..my PollyAnna outlook is somewhat faded. It’s hard to think the best of people, when you daily see how atrocious they can be to one another. But I do try! Amazing and wondrous things happen every day – we just need better eyes to see them!

I do not think you and Paula look like twins. I guess I don’t because to me you each are individuals and I see that side of you more than how you look.

I would love to be more Pollyanna-ish. I guess I’ve been let down enough times to make me wonder about people, but I don’t want to. I want to always believe there are people worth trusting.

I enjoyed your answers! Have a blessed weekend.

Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. I know I have gotten “disappointed” at times because I want to believe the best in folks but it is better for me than the alternative.
