It’s A Special Day

14 Comments/ 73/ 1
Aaron and his Night Night

Any parent can tell you that as their children grow into adults it is a very special time. Our youngest, Aaron, turns 31 today . While he is no longer living under our roof he still remains in our hearts and on our minds constantly.

With his approaching wedding in September to the lovely Erin Maxwell I may be getting just a little bit more sentimental today about his birthday . Somehow the marriage thing makes me realize that my little boy is no longer my little boy.

Aaron was always my little shadow and was pretty shy. I distinctly remember one time when he was about 6 and he would just not leave my side. He was clinging to me and I was feeling just a little bit overwhelmed. But then I stepped back and scolded myself because I knew the day would come when I would just be wishing that he was my shadow. I am glad that I realized how fleetingly precious those moments were.

So today I celebrate Aaron David Chiles — an amazing young man who runs the internet. Yes, he really does. I am so thankful that God put you in our lives 31 years ago.

Happy belated birthday to Aaron! I remember that little boy, he was just darling. Christi just turned 31 in March. It’s just so unbelievable how fast those years went! We truly wish the best for Aaron and are excited about his upcoming wedding! There is just something so special about wedding days, I wish I could go back and live each one over! Please give our best to your family Beth Ann!

Thanks, Sue. I can not believe how fast the years have gone by either. I blinked and he turned 31. Passing along your best to the family!
