Teapots need to be cozy. What does that mean?  It means that to help keep that lovely amber liquid warm and at the right drinking temperature a cozy is often placed over the teapot to keep it warm.  I have several of these teapots in my collection that came with their own little metal cozies and I love them.

This little off white teapot has the perfect cozy to keep it warm and I love the elegance of it when the cozy is on.  This was an Ebay find and definitely shows the signs of being  a well loved and often used teapot judging from the cracks and glazing on both the pot and the lid but it still brews up an amazing cup of tea every single time.  I love the fact that someone else loved pouring tea from this one.

Oh and by the way—it is really difficult to take pictures of shiny tea cozies without capturing yourself in the reflection. I gave up trying to succeed.
