Each week, Hilary at Feeling Beachie lists  four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. This week’s co-host is Cathy Kennedy she submitted the last two statements.

Please help me spread the word about this hop…. Join in by going to Feeling Beachie and then  tweet,FaceBook share, and add the linky to your post…

This week’s statements:

  1. I am afraid of____
  2. My ___ is my favorite room of my house
  3. The last time I _____ I couldn’t ______.
  4. I got my first _____ when I was ____.
My Answers!!!!
1.  I am afraid of wild animals on the loose!!!  After this week’s horrible incident in my birthplace, Zanesville, OH, I am even more convinced that exotic animals need to be in proper facilities and not owned by private citizens.
2.  My sunroom is my favorite room of the house.  I miss it.  It is not heated so I can’t use it in the dead of the Iowa winters but I love it.  It is my favorite reading and relaxing place.

My sister, Paula, with me sitting in my sunroom!!!

3. The last time I made a card for a baby shower I couldn’t believe the mess that I made!!!
4.  I got my first pedicure when I was 51 years old!!!  Just a few months ago!
No –it wasn’t the fish nibbling pedicure but I could not resist the picture!!!
Now wasn’t that fun??? Thanks, Hilary, for hosting this blog hop!  It is my favorite one!!!  Happy Friday!!!

Thanks, Hilary!!! I love making cards but I can never seem to control the mess I make! That picture of my sunroom is not all that great but I think I love it so much because we have photos (on the wall behind us) of Hawaii and Australia and when I sit on the loveseat I see them and remember wonderful WARM times on beaches! YOU can identify with that!!!

What a beautiful job you did on th baby card! At times, I wish I could make elaborate greeting cards like this, but I know it’s a very time consuming and as you said, messy job!

Why thank you!!!! I love to make cards, as you can tell, but it is much easier when I am at my real home because I can get all the stuff out and leave it out in my “office” and shut the door so I don’t have to look at it and clean it up right away!!! But hey—you do what you need to do, right??? Happy Friday, Cathy!

First, thanks for stopping my blog! The fill In’s: I lived in Columbus on the east side for several years and that story out of Zanesville was shocking. And that fish pedi, just blows my mind. I’m thinking Oh, Hell No! hahaha

Liz, thanks for stopping by!!! And do I see that you now live in the Winston Salem area???? One of these days I am going to get back to NC! We lived in Mooresville for 9 years and one of our sons lives in Raleigh so I have plenty of reasons to get there!!!! I don’t think I would be brave enough for the fish pedi either. My husband travels to China a bit and I keep telling him he needs to check one out when he goes but so far he has resisted the nibbling! Thanks again for coming on over!! Great to meet you!

Love your sunroom! That’s my dream *sigh* one day. Not sure I could let fish nibble at my toes, but then again, it might feel nice!
Such a terrible tragedy about all those animals. I really do hope they make some new laws.

I was really sad when I heard what they did to those poor animals! I think that guy should’ve made sure that they were going to be put in a safe place.
    I like the sun room. : )

Thanks for stopping by, Joseph!!! I think that guy must have been at the end of his rope from the sounds of it and just couldn’t figure out what else to do. I feel bad about the whole situation. It was tragic, that is for sure.

That was really scarey that guy had all those exotic animals. Very sad the guy shot himself but wonder why he let all the animals loose. Maybe he thought they’d have a better chance for survival? At least a few were saved and put in a zoo.

I guess we will never know what was going on in his mind—I imagine he just thought it was the best solution but it really wasn’t. So sad.

I read about that animal story, how crazy and tragic! I’m also a card-maker, I finally chiseled myself a work space in the house so I stop bringing my messes everywhere else! Your cards look great!!

I hope you made a ton of cards. I have not made cards in a couple of years. I just told my husband I am thinking I should sell my stamps. His mouth dropped. I saw the fish and thought WOW I have never seen that one

Oh don’t sell your stamps!!! You know once you do you will be sad and want to get back into it!!! I think it is something that you can pick up and go back to years later when you have more time!!! I never did a ton of stamping but I do have a few in my collection that I got at parties, etc. that I really love. Thanks for stopping by!!! have a great weekend!
