It’s Friday and that means it is blog hop day over at Feeling Beachie.  Hilary gives us four statements and lets us fill in the blanks.  It is always fun and I always learn something about everyone who links up.  Hilary is always looking for ideas for statements and if you send her some ideas she will make you the co-host of the hop!!!  So put your thinking caps on, get some ideas, hop over to Hilary’s blog and let her know at [email protected] what they are!  In the meantime, link  up and meet some new folks!

This week’s statements:

  1. Sometimes I ____

  1. I ___ high school

  1. Deciding what to ___________________________ before I ___________________ is such a pain sometimes

  1. _________________is my favorite_________________
My answers:1. Sometimes I wonder what’s it all about.

2. I don’t miss high school.  That was a loooonnnngggggg time ago.

3. Deciding what to pack before I go on a trip is such a pain sometimes.  You would think I would have it down by this time but I don’t.  Biggest issue…shoes.

I never have the right shoes and I always pack way too many…..I love beach vacations because the shoe situation is usually pretty simple then!

Ah, Alfie…..love that you used the original!
The beach would also be mine, but there are not too many around here and we can only use them half of the year. I hope to be a Snow Bird when I grow up.

What a fun idea–and great writing prompts. I will check it out, Beth Ann, thanks. I, too, love the beach–and the shoe issue– Let’s just say it ain’t pretty when I pack!

Oh Kathy–I hope you do this hop–Hilary is great and this is the one that I do almost weekly because she is such a great person and I love the folks I have met there!!! Glad to find a fellow shoe challenged person. It is my dilemma always!

That is such a pretty beach picture. I also love the beach, I miss having it 5 minutes away. I was so spoiled and I didn’t even know it.

Thanks! Took that picture during our Thanksgiving trip to the Bahamas last year!!! We lived on the beach for about a year and loved most things about it—-the constant cleaning of the glass and rusting of items were the things I could do without! 🙂

I would never want to return to high school! It was fun and awful all at the same time. I actually don’t mind packing, but I usually only bring one pair of shoes and one pair of flip flops.

Oh I so need to learn how to pack only a couple of pairs!! I try, I really try and I wear a lot of TOMS and they don’t take up much room so that is the beauty of that!!!

Oh I couldn’t handle the public humiliation. But I’ll give you this, today I am wearing khaki pants and a grey sweatshirt. Oh so colorful and says, “I just don’t care.”

Okay–well I am no fashionista today myself…trust me. My favorite red Privo shoes, jeans and a Lakeside hoodie. It’s all good.

I swear I didn’t steal your answer for number 3. We are off for a quick weekend getaway and packing was/is on my mind. Which reminds me… I need to finish up. Hubby just called and wanted to know if we can leave earlier!!!! I love the beach pic…it looks so peaceful.

I always take more shoes than I need and then end up wearing only half of them. The last time I traveled by air and I have decided that that is not the way to go. I can take so much more when I go in my car.

Thanks for stopping and commenting on my blog. I will be visiting you again.

I will not even touch the shoe problem as I wear pretty much the same all of the time. I can reply that I have no desire to be in high school again.

I hear you about packing, but I am lucky.. when we go to FL for vacation (2x a winter) we don’t have to pack. We keep clothes at my mom’s and when we arrive we pick them up, and when we leave, she takes them back (and washes them) how lucky are we?
