Like No Other – #Biltmore Blooms

5 Comments/ 68/ 0

Another trip to Biltmore estate to specifically see the roses happened last week. Friend and neighbor Elaine and I set out to see the roses as they are blooming up a storm. Elaine is a flower nerd. I don’t think she would mind me writing that. She knows EVERYTHING there is to know about flowers. If I have a question all I have to do is ask her and she usually knows the answer. So she is the perfect person to go see #BiltmoreBlooms with.

Our all time favorite was the Like No Other rose which is not currently available to the public but I am sure it will be eventually because it is amazing. Just look at these blooms all on the same plants.

Of course all of the roses are stunning and the day we went were able to see some that were in full bloom as well as some that were post bloom and pre bloom. The gardeners have been working hard to maintain the gardens and it shows.

I caught Elaine sniffing the roses.

I know I always sing the praises of Biltmore but hey – it is one of my favorite places to go anytime of the year.

Tell me – are you a flower lover ? I have tried to plant a few perennials this year but the jury is still out if I can keep the critters away from them. What is your favorite flower? Tell me in the comments and remember that each comment means a 50 cent donation for our Comments for a Cause – Jubilee Partners.

Beautiful. I love flowers. Not sure if I have a favorite since they are all unique and beautiful in their own way.

I love the gardens at the Biltmore. And the roses look amazing. I have added more plants around the house recently and so far I haven’t killed any. The only ones that bloom though are my orchids and one of my cactuses. But I do love flowers.

I totally understand why Biltmore is one of your favorite places. It would be mine too if it was anywhere near Minnesota. I would be the one bending to smell and photograph all those stunning roses. Thanks for sharing their beauty.

The flowers at Biltmore are so beautiful. You are lucky it is close for you to visit. My favourite flowers are tulips. I find them to be so cheerful.I also love daffodils and daisies. Of course I love all flowers!
