It’s been soooo long since I have linked up with Hilary at Feeling Beachie to join in on her weekly blog hop. I don’t know why—-I just have had other posts planned out but today I am back on my game and joining her as she shares statements to use on our own blogs . If you have some ideas of statements she could use pop on over to her blog–she is always looking for co-hosts. Oh and did I mention she is the amazing author of Dangled Carat??? Check that out while you are popping over!!!
The statements are:
1. I just ____
2.___ is _____
3. If I could, I would ________
4. _____makes me______
My answers:
- I just am amazed at how strange people are at times. (Not any of my readers, of course!)
2. Winter is coming. (In case some of you did not know that already. I am here to serve. ) - If I could, I would solve all the problems of the world by smiling.
- Knowing that I am going to be with family and friends for two whole weeks makes me over the moon happy.
And in case you wanted the Movember mustache update——here it is!

That facial hair is really filling in nicely!
I guess he is really just concentrating not eh mustache which makes me a bit happier than the full on Grizzly Adams man beard!
Mustache looking good! Enjoyed your fill-ins. Enjoy your Friday.. 🙂
Fun fill-ins! Thanks for the heads up on winter. We got our first snow dusting last night, so you are clairvoyant I think. 😉 Seriously, it’s always fun reading your posts! 😀
I know that I am master of the obvious, right? 🙂
That makes two of us! 😀
Love the little fill-in statements! What a fun idea! Have a safe and wonderful trip/trips!
Thanks! You should do this ine! Hilary is fun and a great friend!
You likely know how I would answer numbers 1 – 3. So I’ll stick with completing number 4: Knowing I will see my son for the first time in six months near the end of December makes me over the moon happy.
I get it! Seeing Micah next week is the first since Christmas. Even tho we Facetime all the same it does not compare to actually physically being with him. 🙂
If more people smiled the world would be a happier place.
Dont you think so? I am going to go infect the world!!!
It would be nice if a smile could solve all the world’s problems! Have a great Friday!
Thanks!!! You too!!!!!!
1. I just love Thanksgiving
2. Thanksgiving is before Christmas
3. If I could, I would proclaim all retail stores closed on Thanksgiving.
4. Thanksgiving makes me happy when I spend it with family and friends.
Sounds like you have more on your plate than Turkey and Stuffing this November and it all sounds wonderful. Love the Movember update. Now mothers need to unite and have this tradition moved to January. Cause, you know it’s all about us!
I totally agree. He is ruining the Thanksgiving Day pictures big time. I might have to have Aaron photoshop it.
I am also looking forward to seeing family. We have no snow here yet but by morning we may have some.
It looks gray and cloudy here in Maumee so I suspect we will get some of the white stuff before I get to your place on Sunday!
I just love meeting people
Gratitude is a wonderful character builder
If I could I would solve the world’s hunger needs
Politicians make me angry when they do nothing but lock horns and follow strict party dogma.
I’ve been missing your fill-ins! That’s why I haven’t been able to keep track of the days! Glad you get to be together for Thanksgiving, in NC, no less.
We’ve had winter here for a while now. Love the beard!
I am a firm believer that I can change someone’s day with a smile! 🙂
the stache looks good!! My hubby always has a goatee, so he’s already there. He can’t grow a full beard with his job though. kinda sad.
Enjoy your family time! Hug.
Great on family time. ENJOY!!
Smiling does help a day to be better, and I wish it could solve problems.
Nice answers.
ENJOY your day.

Have a wonderful trip! I’m sure no one ever thinks any of us North Iowa bloggers strange;)
Thanks (NOT) for the winter reminder.. I was trying to forget!
I did need to be told that winter has indeed arrived in most of the country. Very fortunate for me, we have been spared yet again! 🙂 It was a balmy 80 degrees today!!! I wish smiling would solve more issues. I’d help you make the world a better place with a smile for everyone. Enjoy your time with family! My aunt and uncle will be arriving on Thursday and we will see them this weekend – always excited for visitors from Germany! xoxo
Looks like Movember is really coming along there. 🙂
Hope things warm up a bit from the unseasonably cold weather recently.
Movember is moving right along. 🙂 I am in Ohio now and woke up to a winter wonderland. It is pretty but ……..
