Meet Me on Monday!

8 Comments/ 2002/ 0

Thanks to Java at Never Growing Old blog I am trying once again to be part of the Monday blog hop. Still having issues getting the links to post on my blog but you can always go to her website to view more links to blogs of those who are participating. Sure wish I could get this link thing working but oh well—it is not to be right now. The blog hop questions are as follows ! Would love comments and feedback!!!

  1. Favorite all time movie: Has to be The Big Chill. I absolutely love that movie!!! I will always love it!

  2. How often do you go over the speed limit? Hmmm…usually not when I am driving in town but usually when i am doing long distance driving I set cruise for 3-4 miles over the limit. Not too extreme —and no speeding tickets…yet…

  1. What really gives you the creeps? Snakes. I admit it. They creep me out. I know that they are God’s creatures and they are beautiful and I have a nephew who loves them and always has them as “pets” and all but they just give me the creeps.

  2. What is your favorite snack? Chips and salsa. Good salsa–fresh homemade with tons of cilantro!

  3. Would you rather be a dog named Killer or a cat named Fluffy? Definitely a cat named Fluffy! I love cats and I think a name like Fluffy is becoming more and more like me and who I am becoming in my middle years, unfortunately…..

So there you have it!!! Chime in!

    Hi Beth Ann,
Cool blog! Love the cartoon-was that meant for me? (remember the police car you gave me in mooresville?) The cat is hilarious. Hope you are doing well.
How did you end up in Iowa? You are so fun! I would do more on the computer but don’t know how and don’t have time to play with it too much! Blessings to you and your family!
    Donna

Hey Donna! Thanks for stopping by! As you can see from the archives I have been doing this blog thing for awhile! I started doing it when we moved to Australia and kind of kept it up! I DO remember the police car!!! LOL

We ended up in Iowa after NC and then the company asked Chris to come back when we were in Australia. We are supposed to be moving to Tennessee where the headquarters of the company is but still have a house to sell so thank goodness there is no pressure to move until that happens. I had hoped to be gone before another winter but I guess God has other plans for us here!!!
      Great to hear from you!!!

Hey, for a long time, The Big Chill was also my all-time favorite movie! I can’t say it still is (I think Quentin Tarantino movies have warped my appreciation of movies: I think Pulp Fiction is now one of my favorites…).

I guess I got used to them living in Florida but we called them by their fancy schmancy name—palmetto bugs. It made me feel better to call them that….

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...
