Take some time away from the grill and the picnic today to be thankful for all who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. It seems more real to me today than it has in past years with things that have happened recently. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to all who have given their lives and who WILL give their lives to protect our freedoms. There is a lot to be proud of here in the United States and at the top of my list is my freedom to worship . Enjoy your day but don’t forget to say a prayer of thanks. Leave a commentThis is one of the many videos that I watched looking for a video for Sunday’s Jacobs Well service. I ended up using a GodTube video that uses Trace Adkins “Arlington” as the theme and background music. Ed Nimmo was delivering the message and I knew his message involved some history of Memorial Day. It fit perfect with his message but this video was my second choice! Thank you for sharing it and I hope you have safe travels on this Memorial Day!
I will have to check that one out, Lisa! Sounds like another winner. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
I was very touched when I watched the video.
I thought it was a pretty neat way to remember those who have sacrificed on Memorial Day. Much better than my words could be.
Giving thanks, as well. Will have to check out the video. Have a blessed day!
Thank you for stopping by, Patti!!!!
Amen.
Thanks, McGuffy Ann!
Ditto on the “thank you,” for so many reasons.
Yes—there are many reasons. I agree.
Hope you enjoyed your day and that yummy hot dog!!! 🙂
The hot dog was yummy! 🙂 And not healthy but oh well! It was Memorial Day after all. I had a great day since I made the trip to be with my mom for a few days!
