Movember is upon us. Actually we are well into Movember. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Movember, the month formerly known as November, is dedicated to growing moustaches and raising awareness and funds for men’s health issues, specifically cancers affecting men.
Our youngest son, Aaron, is participating in Movember through his workplace, Cisco, and would love to get some donations. Since his Grandpa died this past August due to having prostate cancer it seems pretty timely. If you feel so inclined to donate or just to learn more about it click on the link below to go to a separate page where you can learn more. Just don’t be like me and make your donation in pounds. Oops…..
Aaron also said that Movember was itchy–I think the full beard went by the wayside and he has dialed it back to just a mustache. Good on ya, Aaron.
Please support my efforts by making a donation at http://mobro.co/aaronchiles/d.

Leave a commentMy husband tried growing a mustache for me because I like them but also said it was too itchy so shaved it all off. I don’t blame him one bit.
Yea, Chris has had a beard off and on lately and I am not a huge fan. I like the look after about 4 days in but after that not so much!
He looks like the waiter I had while dining out this weekend, and I actually asked him (the waiter) if he was entered into the Movember contest!! Good for him – hope he rakes in the cashola.
Really??? Well I will pass that on to him. He is far from a waiter. Actually he never did that gig though his older brother did. Aaron is much more the computer whiz and is doing this Movember thing for work. Hope he rakes it in too!!!
My husband has worn a full beard for years. I prefer the beard to scratchy whiskers. He had to shave it for a brief interval for a job once, our daughter claims that initial shock scarred her for life. Go Aaron!
I totally agree—the full beard ended up being softer than those scraggly whiskers. But I had a hard time waiting for the softness to set in!!! Your poor daughter—I bet she will never recover! 🙂 I think Aaron is just happy he can grow one now—he used to be a little “spotty”.
