Normal Hair

Leave a Comment/ 1474/ 0

Well I HOPE to have normal hair today—–at least I have the “tools” I am used to using!!! The elusive suitcase arrived. The problem is I am not sure WHEN it arrived. I had talked to two shifts of people at the hotel here–given them my phone number to call when it arrived, talked to them before I left for the day and no call. No call from the courier service who is supposed to call when they are delivering it. Nothing. So last night when Ann and I left to go get dinner the woman at the desk looked at me when I walked by and said “Wait” and took me to another door to the office which she opened and WALA==there it was. My suitcase in all of its glory. I asked her when it had come and she said it had been there when she got there at 3….so explain to me why, oh why, did the girl who was working when it came who took my number did not call me, OR why the new lady coming on did not call my room. She said she did not remember my room number but “knew” I would be coming down…..Now I have 3 name tags on my suitcase and one inside….quite visible. And if you KNEW someone was missing their suitcase would you not do all that you could to make sure it got reunited with its owner? I guess some people don’t think like me! Obviously! So all is good and I can stop messing around and get down to real business today with my own stuff! Yippee!!! The story had a great ending.

It is great to be back in Mooresville—not so great to be reliving the traffic!!! Went to the infamous Brawley School Road/Williamson Rd. interchange and nothing has changed in 3 years!!! Gotten worse if anything but we made it through! Yippee!!! Great day with my BFF and another great day planned today with more friends. I love my life!!! Hope to get some pictures taken to post of the area and of friends!!!

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
