On A Somewhat Lighter Note

Linking up for the Meet Me on Monday blog hop from Java at Never Growing Old to join in the blog hop fun.  After my previous post of the day concerning the death of Osama bin Laden I debated on whether to do my usual Monday morning blog hop.  It seemed like I should so here we go.  Bloggers tell everything about themselves and it is all out there in the blogosphere.  Here is a chance to learn more about ME (aren’t you lucky?) and join in the blog hop if you want.  Just hop on over to Java’s and link up!!!  Great way to find new friends!!

This week’s questions:

Questions:

1.  What is your favorite kind of muffin?
2.  What was the first car you ever owned?
3.  Which TV Show were you sad to see end?
4.  What is your lucky number?
5.  Pretzels or Potato Chips?

  1. Favorite kind of muffin??? Has to be a cinnamon streusel swirly kind!

  2. First car I ever owned—our first car we had when we got married.  I shudder to think of it.  It was not a good choice.  A Reliant K car.  This is pretty close to what it looked like.

  3. What tv show were you sad to see end?    There have been a few but maybe the one I miss the most is Joan of Arcadia.  I LOVED that show!

  1. What is your lucky number???  I don’t really have one!!!

  2. Chips or pretzels?   Pretzels without a doubt!

My first car was a Rambler that I got for my High School graduation from my aunts. A tree fell on it and bashed in the roof. I like blueberry muffins best and prefer chips to pretzels. I felt very bad when “Kid Nation” got cancelled. I liked it!

    Hi Beth Ann

Thanks for joining me for WW this week! My first car was a pea green 73 Toyata Corona with a vinyl brown interior and no air conditioning. It was a rust bucket but I saved up for it for over a year and I was so thrilled to have that car (even though it was tiny and ugly!) I bought it used in college and decorated it with rainbow and unicorn stickers to pretty it up! I literally drove it until it rusted apart!

Have a fabulous week and hope you’ll stop by again soon!

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

An Abundance of Katherines

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
