Randomness

Leave a Comment/ 1427/ 0

Been a couple of days since my last post so thought I would do a random question post!   Just to keep you all amused!   Pick a couple and comment on and respond to what YOUR answer would be. Would love to hear from you .  But now….drumroll please….some random questions and answers from moi!

  1. Last time you had butterflies?
First Sunday in August when I gave the message and did the service at our church.  Not too many butterflies but a couple fluttered out after the first service was over!

  2. How is your mood today?
Kind of in a weird mood—it is gloomy and cold outside and Chris just showed me a picture of me standing in front of a huge snow pile a couple of winters ago here.  NOT looking forward to that at all.

  3. Do you like seafood?
I love seafood!   I eat a lot of it when we eat out.  I am not too great at cooking it.  The only exception is scallops which I seem to be allergic to.  On our honeymoon we had one really nice meal out at the fancy schmancy restaurant at Kiawah Island and after just 2 bits of scallops I felt very sick.  We left out plates full of food and rushed back to the villa where I promptly emptied my stomach of all its contents.  Sorry—but it is true.   I tried scallops another time with the same result so I decided it was not for me.  I hate to even kiss Chris after he eats them……that is how vivid that memory of 28 years ago is…

  4. Mints or chewing gum?
Definitely gum.  Though I do not always have a stick in my mouth I do always have some in my purse!

  5. What do you do all the time in a car?
    I sing.

  6. Do you like to read?
Yes, I love to read.  Books, magazines, newspapers, online, Kindle, etc….

  7. Have you ever changed your clothes while in a vehicle?
Not that I remember but then my memory isn’t so great so maybe I am blocking that one!

  8. Who was the last person to make you cry?
Person?? Not sure—I cry at the drop of a hat, though, these days.  If tv shows count then the last person that made me cry was a lady on Animal Hoarders…

  9. What is one thing you miss about your past?
I miss having my family with me.  I really miss our kids a lot.  I know you raise them to grow up and be independent and all that but I miss those days when they would come home from school, have a snack and tell me about their day.  I love where we are at now in our relationship with them but I miss the innocent hugs and just the fun of having young kids at home.

  10. What’s the largest age difference between yourself and someone you dated?
Umm…5 years I think.  It was  huge difference when you are a high school girl….

  11. When was the last time you cried?
This past week when I was praying for friends who are going through incredible challenges.

  12. Do you ever use your full name?
    All the time!

  13. What is one thing you’ve learned about life?
    Don’t be afraid to love.

  14. What was the last movie you watched?

The Town

  1. Is anyone jealous of you?
I highly doubt it though several have said they are jealous of my being able to travel .

  2. Has a friend ever used you?
    Yep.  But not recently.

  3. Who was the last person you drove with?
    Chris

  4. What is something that you want to do within the next week?
Make some more cards and then clean my office up!  It is a wreck!

  5. Who was the last person you hugged?

Chris

  1. Do you use post-its?
    All the time!!!

  2. Do you have more friends that are girls or boys?
Probably more girls…hard to put a figure on it.

  3. Have you ever made out with someone you weren’t dating?:
Yep.  Blush blush….it was a looonnnnggg time ago.

  4. Is there a difference between the word ‘best friend’ and ‘friend’?:
Hmm…Yep.  I would say so.  I have a ton of friends but best friend –now those are rare and aside from Chris and my sister I would say I have 3 or 4 that earn that title.

  5. Do you care what people think of you?
A little. Not as much as I once did but I still care a bit .

  6. Is silence really golden?
There is a time and place for everything and there is a time and place for silence…

Old Girls in Low Cotton

An Abundance of Katherines

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
