Retrieving Freedom, Inc. Reaches Out

8 Comments/ 2783/ 0

RFIThis month is dedicated to raising awareness (and funds through Comments for a Cause) for Retrieving Freedom, Inc. which has a site based out of Waverly, Iowa.  This group has been amazing at commenting and letting me know how great of an organization it is and today I am pleased to share a few photos that were sent to me from one of their supporters, Calvin Corson as well as one of the founders, Scott Dewey.  Thanks to these two for sharing some of the pictures behind the organization.

Please join this great organization if you can for their Grand Opening on June 27th as listed in the first photograph. This day will prove to be an amazing day filled with fun and heartfelt emotion.  I hope that I will be able to make it but can not say for sure yet if that is going to be possible.  So if you are in the area, invite others.  If you want to donate please feel free to do so on your own by visiting their website or mailing a donation to the above address. Every little bit helps.

I will definitely do that! I really want to go but not sure if I can spare the time from getting ready for the move. If I work REALLY hard this week I can. 🙂

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...
