It’s Tuesday which means it is time for another teapot on It’s Just Life.  Today’s teapot is a nice sturdy Hall teapot that I found at the ReStore here in Brevard awhile back.  It is in beautiful condition and hardly seems like it has been used at all. October is the month that we focus on breast cancer awareness and since I know many survivors the pink theme seems appropriate this month.

I have told you before that thrift shops are always a great place to find teapots and this is one of several that I have found locally at the Habitat ReStore.  The price couldn’t be beat ($6) and it will be right at home with my other Hall teapots.

I am not a big collector of pink items but this one with the Fleur-de-lis with its standard 3 petals bound together at the bottom to create a lily is very charming.

Hall teapots are quite popular and are plentiful in many styles and colors.  I always smile when I find one and normally can identify one without turning it over to see the stamp or mark.

The bonus in this one is the built in strainer in the spout that enables the tea leaves to stay in the pot when the tea is brewed and poured out.  No need for an infuser or tea ball. 

This classy little teapot is perfect for serving a cuppa to friends and pretty enough to use every day.

Creme Earl Grey

It is fragrant in here,
behind the diamond-shaped
glass, under the white tin
cover, spiraled to finality
(at least for now). Black leaves
