Take A Break

17 Comments/ 275/ 0

Take a break. Take a deep breath and just take a break.

That’s exactly what I plan to do for the next ten days or so.

I have thought about this a lot over the past few days and decided that that is exactly what I need to do here on It’s Just Life. I have a family trip coming up and I just don’t have enough hours in the day or quite frankly the energy to get blog posts ready to go while I am spending time with the family. Sometimes I recycle blog posts and I thought about doing that as well and then I decided to just make it easy on myself and take a little bit vacation.

it’s all good, right? When we decide to make a little time for ourselves and for making things easier on ourselves it is a healthy thing to do. I do this blog for the fun of it and I want to keep it that way and not be all stressed out about getting some decent content out.

I really do love all of the folks who stop in here to read my ramblings and so many of your are my close friends. I am grateful to you for spending your time. here and I know that you don’t have to click to come here.

So check back after Labor Day and see what I am rambling about — I am sure it will be entertaining!

I really admire how you consistently post good content, 5 days a week. While I’ll miss your posts, I’m glad you can spend time with your family! Have a great time!

I always said I would stop when it wasn’t fun and I was stressing out about it so I made the decision. I am not taking my laptop and it’s not as easy to do it on an iPad or phone so decision made!

Sometimes blogging is just so much effort and so time consuming. We all need breaks from it periodically I think. So enjoy your break guilt-free! And what could be better than spending it with family? Have a great time!

Taking a break is just fine and sometimes needed as we recharge and focus on other things. I’m a case in point. But, like you, I miss the daily interaction with blog readers. Enjoy your time with family.
