Take A Break

34 Comments/ 628/ 0

Take a break. Take a deep breath and just take a break.

That’s exactly what I plan to do for the next ten days or so.

I have thought about this a lot over the past few days and decided that that is exactly what I need to do here on It’s Just Life. I have a family trip coming up and I just don’t have enough hours in the day or quite frankly the energy to get blog posts ready to go while I am spending time with the family. Sometimes I recycle blog posts and I thought about doing that as well and then I decided to just make it easy on myself and take a little bit vacation.

it’s all good, right? When we decide to make a little time for ourselves and for making things easier on ourselves it is a healthy thing to do. I do this blog for the fun of it and I want to keep it that way and not be all stressed out about getting some decent content out.

I really do love all of the folks who stop in here to read my ramblings and so many of your are my close friends. I am grateful to you for spending your time. here and I know that you don’t have to click to come here.

So check back after Labor Day and see what I am rambling about — I am sure it will be entertaining!

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

The Good Girl

I loved this book! It had my interest from the very first page and was my "airplane" book on a recent trip. Author Mary Kubica created believable and interesting characters that the reader learned to identify with and care about. Mi...

All the Light We Cannot See

This is quite a book! I had it recommended to me by several people and while I thought it might be a little dark and depressing it made me have a better understanding of what life in this time period was like. The strength of the huma...

An Abundance of Katherines
by John Green
Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
