Teapot Tuesday

10 Comments/ 2491/ 0

Teapot Tuesday is all about my obsession with teapots and today I am sharing one that I got in a “lot” of teapots from a collector on eBay.  Sometimes the best things come in packages with other things and that was the case with this classic and sturdy white porcelain teapot that I got a few years ago.5

It is a great teapot because it comes with a built in strainer and I love that feature in a teapot.

4 I don’t think this teapot was used too often from the looks of the inside but I love the simplicity and the sturdiness of the design.

3 Of course I am clueless as to what this says but I will work on getting a translation since I have a good source now. 2

1I loved how my teapot looked nestled by my newly planted herbs on one of my porches, don’t you?  Perfect for a pot of mint tea, perhaps?

Enjoy your day and remember that any day is made much better when there is a cup or two of tea involved.

“The leaves that remain are only a very small part of the tea. The tea that goes into me is a much bigger part of the tea. It is the richest part.
We are the same; our essence has gone into our children, our friends, and the entire universe. We have to find ourselves in those directions and not in the spent tea leaves.”
― Thich Nhat Hanh, No Death, No Fear

I love teapots with a built in infuser. This one would be perfect for mint or any loose herbal tea. The quote by Thich Nhat Hanh is very profound.

Mint tea sounds lovely! Do you grow it at home?

I love that container you have for your herbs. You need to tell me where you purchased this. Pretty please.

Ah, yes, an in-house translator. How wonderful.

I got them at Tractor Supply Company so you might be able to find them at yours. Got them a month or more ago and wishing I had gotten 3 sets instead of 2.

A very simple and lovely teapot that I exactly thought should hold some mint tea!! And one of my very favourite quotes from Thich Nhat Hanh.
