Things I Am Loving

10 Comments/ 87/ 0

Today is all about things I am loving lately and my lucky readers get to share my happiness with me. Aren’t you the lucky ones?

Usually I share products that I love but today’s post is a little bit different. Bear with me.

First up — blackberry pancakes. I made a batch last week and they were AMAZING. Nothing like fresh berries to give something a pop of flavor and these were perfect.

The next is an actual product that I love, love, love. I went to my favorite store in Brevard – Theophilus– to find a gift for someone and walked out with two of these fabulous wine glasses. Their shape is awesome and they are the perfect little glass to use to enjoy a nice glass of vino. I mean just look at these. They are fabulous.

As I have been preparing for my mom’s Celebration of Life I have been going through a lot of papers and pictures. I found this little excerpt in my Daddy’s baby book. I guess he had some Biblical knowledge way back when he was little. “Creasing the bread” will now become one of my favorite phrases.

Continuing on down the road of memories I found this picture which totally made me laugh out loud. My brother Mark never liked to have his picture taken which is shown by the bread in front of his face. I sent him this pic and he commented that it looked like brother Chris was having a spiritual experience or something. I can’t stop laughing when I look at this picture taken at my Grandma and Grandpa Dittus’ house.

Finally my favorite picture that I have never seen but is now my favorite. It is of my Grandma Dittus and my mom and whoever took it caught them at the best possible moment. The joy and happiness on their faces is priceless. It is going to be one in a collage that we share at my mom’s service. Both my grandma and my mom hated to have their picture taken as well so this one is priceless.

These are some of the things that have brought me joy this week and brought a smile to my face. What about you? What has made you happy? Tell me all about it and Comment for a Cause for UMCOR.
