What’s On Your Camera Roll?

20 Comments/ 22/ 0

As I was scrolling through some of my old posts I found one where I shared what pictures were on my phone. I thought it would be fun today to share a few pictures from my phone.  These have all been taken in the past couple of weeks.  Some might need a bit of an explanation.

We changed our air filters after the wildfires. I have never ever seen them this dirty and this was on ones that are good for 6 months and had only a couple of months of use.  I wonder what my lungs look like now.

I love when stores have resident cats and dogs.  A recent trip to a warehouse fabric store in Greenville found me loving on Blacky.

However Blacky did not always behave and has a tendency to climb up the rolls of fabric.

How about a lovely bale of cotton?  Doesn’t this look amazing?  I love it.

This is the look of victory on the face of our youngest son’s girlfriend when she hit a good flavor in Bean Boozled.

I always have to write on the beach.  It’s the kid in me.

When was the last time you saw an oyster bed?  South Carolina showed me some.

A lovely meal out with the family where we shared Low Country Boil and crab legs.  Yum.

I love shore birds and have hundreds of pictures of them.  I can never get enough of these little guys.

We happened upon a fisherman who was pulling this shark in on his line.  Puppy Penny was intrigued and wanted to play with it.  Pretty cool looking critter, don’t you think?

So tell me – if you have a phone camera what photos do you have that you have taken in the past couple of weeks that would pique my interest?  Don’t forget that every comment made on the blog this month means a 50 cent donation to our Comments for a Cause ASPCA.

What a neat idea for a blog post?! I’ll have to try that sometime. I love Blacky; what a pretty cat. (I can’t imagine that it’s good for the fabric for him to use the rolls as climbing trees….!)
    Your son’s girlfriend is beautiful!
The cotton bale looks like home – lots of those around here a couple of months ago.
And I never seem to find a long enough stick to write in the sand, but the heart with yours and Chris’s names is perfect.

You should definitely do this post, Dianna. It is a fun way to see what has been going on. Blacky is adorable and I only saw him climbing on the fabric once—I suspect he was showing off.

Great idea! But I have no idea how to get photos from my phone into my laptop! And they’d all be Katie anyway. Lol

I have an iPhone and a Mac so I can Airplay them or sometimes I just email them to my email address. Yours would be beautiful pictures of Katie I am sure.

Oh my – we changed the filters the other day and yes, they were filthy!
You know I’ve got Chris and flowers/plants from our hikes on my camera!
And, no, I’ve never since an oyster bed! Very cool!

The filters downstairs were the worst. The upstairs ones weren’t as bad but still. Ugh. I think your pictures on your phone are perfect representations of your life. 🙂

Loved this post! Oysters, cotton, cat, girl friend-all wonderful! Question for you Beth Ann – do you use the Live photo feature on your phone often? It’s cool but I forget about it. I agree that this is a fun post and I will try one too! I was thinking-we should all show our photos. There should be a way we could all do this on the web where we could share our photos-oh yea, someone all ready thought of that!

This is a fun idea! That cat climbing the fabric is hilarious. My photos are mostly food and the dog:)

My cellphone photos are primarily ones of my granddaughter. Yup. No landscapes. No sharks. No cats. No dirty furnace filters. Just family.

Most of my pictures on my phone are of our dog, Dot. Honestly, we are worse than new parents, always taking pictures of her. I love your collection. A nice cross section of life. I am fond of shorebirds too and I visited an oyster bed when we lived on the west coast of BC.

Oh dear – you’ve caught me on the Saturday afternoon I finally uploaded all my cell photos to my laptop!! LOL
I think I might have 2 or 3 that I keep for wallpaper usage — I guess I’d better get out and get some more shots!!
I shudder to think what our air filters must look like with the windows all closed for winter. ugh.

So funny to read this today as I was thinking about incorporating a “phone picture dump” type post into my blogging schedule. Who doesn’t love to see more pictures?
This air filters look crazy. Glad you guys made it through the fires inscathed. So scary.
For some reason I’m not getting your posts in my inbox even though I signed up. Hmmm…

You definitely need to to do a phone dump –I would love to see that! Who knows why you aren’t getting the posts? Sometimes things got wonky. I have started putting all the blogs I want to follow into Bloglovin’ and then I don’t miss them and they don’t get lost in my inbox. Works out better for me for some reason.

I don’t think I’d want a cat in a fabric store! (A friend adopted a store cat for a furniture once, very very briefly. Never again.)

For a furniture store, I meant…sort of hurrying out of here…

“Here” meaning cyberspace, of course! Haste makes waste! Right. The cafe opens tomorrow. Actually I’m told it opened today; the sign said “to January 10” so I planned to go back on the 11th. Anyway, blog resumes on schedule tomorrow and there’ll be a Link Log today if anyone wants to visit.
