What’s On Your Camera Roll?

1 Comment/ 18/ 0

It’s been awhile since I have done a What’s on Your Camera Roll post and it seems like it is a good time. Aside from having a ton of Book Sale pictures and pictures of books, this is what you will find on mine.

The annual dark eyed junco nest — I took a picture a couple of days ago and there were 3 eggs. Somehow two more were added and Mama is very protective and dive bombed Chris when we were sitting on the front porch. I guess we will have to sit on the back side of the house till they hatch.

.

We have had a great book sale so far and one of my jobs is managing the Hold area where we hold boxes of books that customers want to buy but don’t want to lug around while they look for other treasures. Sometimes we get online sellers or book dealers who have huge orders and this year we tried to accommodate a couple that ended up buying a lot of books. When they returned their carts they brought us some watermelon as a thank you! It was a very sweet gesture and since I love watermelon I was all over that!

.

.

Saturday was our youngest son’s birthday and while I was putting together a collage of pictures of him over the years I found this one that someone had taken him at work one Halloween. It’s pretty good.

.

.

One of the rooms that we are using for the book sale at the college is a gathering space where we can have our lunches and get away from the sale to a quiet room. This guy watches over us.

.

.

I haven’t done a Found in Books post for awhile but I found this in a history book I was putting out on our table to sell.

.

.

Finally a coup;e cat pictures, both of Misha, because she is very photogenic as of late. The first is one of her new obsessions other than balancing on the glass in the shower. Any high spot is hers.

.

..

It’s Misha’s first birthday today –we are so happy she came to live with. us! Happy Birthday to our ninny cat!

.

So that’s some of my camera roll. Tell me what is on yours in the comments. I would love to know!

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...
