Where Do You Keep Them All? Teapot Tuesday Reveal!

25 Comments/ 3939/ 0

Several of you have asked me repeatedly how many teapots I have.  I have still not counted although I suspect the number of teapots is upwards of 250.  I might be surprised if I counted them all.

Many of you have also asked where I keep all of my teapots.  Well, they are mainly housed in the dining room and entry way in china cabinets and on a massive buffet but you can also find them creeping into other areas of the house. I have them on the mantel, in bookcases, in my office, and even in the bathrooms.  Right now I have my Christmas ones stored to put out later but my fall themed teapots are hanging out on bookcases in the living room.

Here are a few pictures to give you a glimpse inside my house.

The entry way houses another antique that holds some of my most special teapots and teapot sets.

I have a few more stored in the cabinets in the kitchen that are my brewing pots and a few more stored in the hutch bases as well as a baker’s rack full in my office.  Yes, there are a few but I am always excited when someone gifts me one or when I find another that is perfect to add to my collection.

One day I will count and inventory them all.  One day. But for now I will just enjoy them and continue to share them with you on Teapot Tuesday.  Next week I will share yet another one that has not been featured on It’s Just Life before.  Come back and make sure to leave a comment for Comments for a Cause.

Though I cannot flee
From the world of corruption,
I can prepare tea
With water from a mountain stream
And put my heart to rest.

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
