Oh my goodness!!! That cracks me up. We had neighbors that had one named SweetPea—it was pretty destructive in the house so I ruled out ever having one as an inside pet.
I was going to say, “that’s our Suzy!” but I believe it’s a Mister.. 😀 Our Fox Squirrel population died down to nothing because all the gray squirrels ran them off. I believe the drought took its toll on the gray squirrels so now our brown squirrels are coming back.. we love them. Suzy and her Mister had a family and we are so happy! Fun WW post Beth Ann! Good Morning!
awww so cute!! I love watching their silly antics in my backyard. They will hide a peanut or something in my garden, and a bird will come down and uncover it, then steal it. the squirrel will try and chase the bird along the fence. it’s hilarious. I had a chipmunk follow me around the other day wanting his close up. and I got a pretty good one too. LOL

Leave a commentThey have some antics, don’t they? Our squirrels are gray, rather than “red”, but they probably put on just as good a show!
I am sure they are all alike in their antics.
Love it! I had a pet squirrel for years, and I still miss him. He liked to watch Letterman and eat orange popsicles – sometimes at the same time.

Smackers visited inside, but he had a huge aviary out on the patio to live in, complete with a log house, branches to lay on, etc.
Oh my goodness!!! He had it made!!! What a lucky squirrel!!! I bet he was a wonderful pet.
OMG That is adorable!
That second guy was very adorable. 🙂
Too cute for words…eh!! Lol.
They were pretty adorable!!!
You’ll find TX squirrels look like these two red little guys. Very cute!
These were Ohio guys from earlier this summer. I love to watch them.
I saw a black squirrel when we were in Mankato on Saturday, my first such sighting of a black one outside of Wisconsin. It was quite the surprise.

Yes—I think your astute observation is correct that this is a Mister. 🙂 How fun to have Suzy and family around!!!!
I miss nothing… so CH tells me 😀 Really Beth Ann, I check everything out on pictures, it must be the picture taker in me!
I am sure that is why—you scrutinize every little pixel!
Al? Al? Al? lol
HAHAAHAHAH! I hadn’t thought of that for a long time. Now I have to go find that video. Thanks for making my day!
I thought you’d get a kick out of that.
It’s like he posed for the picture!
He did. Of course I talked to him to get him to pose. I speak squirrel as well as bird, cat, deer, pheasant and occasionally dog.
Ribbit!
Love squirrels we have several in our garden that get up to all kinds of mischief and mayhem, particularly with the bird feed 🙂
I like watching them but do not like them when they eat the bird’s food.

Mmm. That squirrel is very cute. Such long fingers! Great picture.
I’m nuts for squirrels! 🙂
Me, too!!!!!
Squirrels are fun to watch until they get in your walls!
Good point. That would NOT be a good thing!
Great shots of the squirrels. They are fun to watch and our dog loves to chase them! They are very fast!
I bet Abby does love to chase them!!! But they are usually pretty fast footed so I doubt she has caught any, has she?
They always make me smile, even when they are trying so hard to intimidate me.
Oh they act all tough, don’t they? But I suspect they are all pretty lovable.
Though I dislike tree rats aka squirrels a great deal, this is a cute photo.
Thanks, Diane!! Tree rats–that made me giggle.
