You Can Quote Me

The title is misleading.  I admit it.
The following quotes are not mine so you can’t actually quote ME on these but you can quote these other people.
Sometimes I like to find quotes that strike a chord with me. I find that the ones that make an impact on me are the short ones that get right to the point.  Most focus on happiness, love or self worth.  Those are the ones that make me smile when I read them.
Quotes are often posted on bathroom mirrors, refrigerator doors and scribbled on notepads on desks.   They are often pulled out to offer to others in letters and notes written to offer encouragement.  There is a quote available for every situation and if there isn’t – just make one up of your own.
So today please enjoy a few short quotes that I like.

    A couple that I’ve remembered for MANY years: “Bloom where you’re planted” and a longer one: “Life is mostly froth and bubble; two things stand as stone: kindness in another’s trouble, courage in your own”. And I don’t know who to credit for them!

    Love these, there are a few of my faves sprinkled in. I’ve always loved quotes and will scribble them in my planners, journal, notepads and sometimes even make pretty photos with them. 🙂

    Thanks Beth- all good quotes! Quotes were probably the social media of the times before there was such a thing as social media. I like Margaret Meads quote- puts everything in perspective! Marcel’s quote was new to me- I like that too!

        My notebook is old (I started it in college) and there are tons of scraps of paper stuck in it with quotes on them. It’s all crammed in there but not necessarily organized. 😉
