A Bit of Sunshine on Teapot Tuesday

15 Comments/ 75/ 0

A flowery teapot is just what this spring day calls for so debuting on the blog today is this adorable flower themed teapot. It was advertised as a sunflower teapot but I suspect that is not the correct flower that is gracing two sides of this lovely little gem.

I am not a flower expert but I do know a cute teapot when I see it on eBay and this one caught my eye recently. The price was right and it found its way to my home to join my other teapots.

I don’t know anything about the company or creator but I do know that I love it. That’s all that matters to me.

Everyone is anxiously awaiting spring to come and stay for more than a few days and maybe this teapot will do the trick to encourage spring flowers to pop up and thrive. Enjoy your day and maybe add a cup of tea to your schedule. I guarantee it will lift your spirits.

I did not know there was an actual person named Erlene Grey! I love Earl Grey tea.

The teapot is beautiful, but I REALLY like the embroidery beneath it!

I was a little doubtful about that name of Erlene Grey myself but it makes a good name for a tea quote. I will have to do some research. The little linen was a piece from my grandma and I had a fellow blogger friend do the quilting on it . I don’t use it often but it is one of my favorite. pieces.

I think it’s a Daisy as well. 🙂 Regardless, it’s a cute flower teapot and I love how you staged it with the embroidered table cloth. 😍

Daisy – I agree! I don’t know how you could mistake that for a sunflower. 🙂

That would be a daisy, in my opinion. A summer flower and one of my favorite. But certainly beautiful on a teapot in spring.

I guess a daisy is a summer flower but I am thinking ahead. Smile.

Definitely a daisy and thanks! This little tablecloth is one that I had from my family and I had Doreen (another blogger) do the quilting on it. I love it.

The colors say “daisy.” Maybe it’s the texture of the center that made someone think “sunflower.”
