A Trip to the Beach

9 Comments/ 111/ 0

Chris and I spent last week getting our cloud tans at Cherry Grove Beach. It was a very gloomy, windy and cold week with bundled up beach walking and lots of reading. I was fine with that.

The Cherry Grove Pier was under repair as are many of the structures on beaches where storms tend to ravage yearly. But I always have to take one of these shots.

Some brave souls were testing out their surfing abilities.

My beach afghan was needed this week and I finished 7 books — two really good ones were The Midnight Library and The Push. I gave both of them 5 star ratings.

Sunrises and sunsets were not that great during our stay but I still captured a few shots.

There were tons of seashells on this beach and I did manage to find my first sharks tooth.

And of course – seagulls. All the seagulls are my favorites and I probably have hundreds of pictures of them but yet I still need more.

Thanks for coming to the beach with me. Enjoy your week.

Thanks for taking us to the beach, Beth Ann! I have no problem with the clouds and cold. Just getting away would be wonderful!!!!! So happy you and Chris had the chance.

I’m glad you and Chris got away to your favorite place, the beach. Even though the weather was not ideal, you made the best of it. Thank you for sharing your photos.

The Push is on my list to read. I’m waiting to get it from the library. I am #26 on the list. It could be a long wait.

Even a cold beach day is better than no beach day. I love walking on the beach for miles, especially when it gets cool out. Great snaps.
