Andy Winds Down His Iowa (and more) Adventure

23 Comments/ 3818/ 0

It is time to send Andy on his way.  I must admit I have hung on to him a tad bit longer than I probably should have but hey—-we had a lot to do and see!!!  Andy is going to be heading out to British Columbia next and will be staying with Darlene who writes over at Darlene Foster’s Blog.  You will definitely want to check it out.  Don’t forget Andy’s mama—Lenore –over at Lenore’s Thoughts Exactly—she is the one who started this, after all!!!  We had a good time with Andy and will be sad to see him go but we will always have “Flat Andy” with us!!!  Enjoy Andy’s last days in Iowa!

We, (that’s Lotte the Tibetan Spaniel and me) enjoyed having Andy to stay for a few weeks a couple of months ago. Did you remember to pack some jelly beans for his journey all the way over to Darlene?

He kind of has gotten to like Corn nuts in Iowa……I am not sure what is going along with him. He came to us with taffy so his tastes seem to change!!!

Looks like lots of interesting places to visit in Mason City. Thanks for the mini tour with Andy. Also, is the BBQ fest an annual event? Love those.

I will miss Andy. He has had a lot of traveling but he seems to like it. I hope Buddy and Holly will not miss you too much.

It looks like Andy had a blast, so much to see, kitties to snuggle with, great food…I’m so happy to hear he is off to visit Darlene. I can’t wait to see BC through Andy’s eyes. He’ll be searching her library for bookworms, I’m sure!

Sorry to hear Andy will be leaving. I thought the photos of him with the cats were DARLING, but then the corn shots were fun, as well. Congrats to Lenore on a great idea. I suppose that now Andy needs his own blog, so he can write about his adventures from HIS perspective! What do you think?
    Hugs,
    Kathy
