Another Hall on Teapot Tuesday

8 Comments/ 221/ 1

If you have seen Teapot Tuesday at all over the years, you know of my love of Hall teapots. Imagine my delight when I found one that I don’t have in my collection when we traveled through Madison, Georgia at an antique shop.

I spied a bookcase filled with teapots in a little alcove and made a beeline towards it. Not all of the teapots on it were Hall but there were quite a few and several were ones similar to ones in my own collection.

But there at the bottom right corner was one that was unlike any in my collection so of course I had to check it out further. It was a deep wine color and a different shape than any of the ones I have in my stash so I was drawn to it.

It’s in really great shape with no staining or cracks or chips that I have found.

The trademark is stamped on the bottom of the teapot.

I am thrilled to have added this to my collection at a really reasonable price.

Aren’t I the lucky one to have this new “old” teapot? Leave me a comment and remember to Comment for a Cause — Asheville Cat Weirdos Emergency Vet Fund.

If that was blue I’d have snatched it up too. It’s really a nice size and shape for everyday use.

I loved all the teapots on that display. How were you able to narrow it down to one? The one you picked is great though.

That’s a beautiful color, and it goes so nicely on your counter! Every time I see one of your teapots I think I should find just one.

Do you know how many teapots that you have? And how do you store them?
