Tickled Pink on Teapot Tuesday

26 Comments/ 2539/ 0

My love of teapots has become one of the regular features here on It’s Just Life.  Teapot Tuesday has been in existence since April 2011 and I have missed a few Tuesdays and repeated only a couple of teapots over the years.  Folks keep asking me how many I have and I have yet to count them all because I am in denial.  But isn’t it fun to stop by on Tuesdays and see yet another teapot? Some of my readers only visit my blog on Tuesdays so how can I disappoint them?

teapotToday’s teapot is another Ebay find—it came with in a “lot” of teapots and is similar to a couple of other ones that must have come from a collection.  It is pretty in pink and comes with its own metal cozy to keep the contents warm.teapot2 teapot3I love the simple design and even though the lid has a little crack it does not affect the brewing at all.  Once the cozy is popped on you don’t even see that crack in the teapot lid.teapot4Why don’t you cozy up with a blanket, a book and a cup of tea today and enjoy one of the best experiences life can give you.  I know I plan to.

Chocolate thickens the saliva, which isn’t good news if you’ve gotta recite Shakespeare or sing Iron Man. Having said that, you’re not supposed to drink tea either but I still do before gigs. It’s not very rock and roll, but it’s like a magic potion to me. ~ Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzie’s quote is perfect I think! And the pink pot is pretty sweet.

I love a metal tea cozy! This teapot is truly pretty in pink. I have heard about Ozzie´s tea drinking habit. (one of his better ones)

I love the metal tea cozy as well. I think I have 3 teapots like this now and they all came to my collection around the same time. This one is just pretty all the way around.

So do you find the metal cozy works better than a felted or quilted cozy? I’m intrigued!

It really does keep it warm for quite awhile. I need to do a side by side test, don’t I? I will work on that!

🙂 I think a lot of people have no idea of all the things that come with tea—if you are not a tea freak like me you wouldn’t have a need to know!

I need to send you a picture of a teapot and creamer I picked up at an estate sale. Metallic and ceramic…not sure what it is exactly. Maybe you can tell me. Of course, then I would probably take it away from the three year old and put it up!

Oh that sounds really neat! I would love to see a picture of it. I imagine a 3 year old is not quite ready for a ceramic teapot although we did give my 4 year old great niece a cute little child size ceramic set and she does pretty well with it.

Definitely pretty in pink!! We got pink here too.. unfortunately it is Pink Eye!! So I am definitely sitting back with some tea to remain calm and peaceful while my little one recovers.
And I can just see heavy rocker Ozzy sitting back with his long hair and black eye makeup sipping a cup of tea!! LOL
