All Broken Up on Teapot Tuesday

17 Comments/ 3135/ 1

Sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned.  Today was one of those days and as a result my Teapot Tuesday is a bit broken up.

I ordered a really sweet crystal teapot from Ebay.  It was not expensive and looked to be a beautiful find for the price and I was thrilled to find the package in the mail when I arrived home from Lakeside.teapot6

But, as is often the case when fragile items are shipped, it arrived broken.  I heard the tinkle of the glass when I opened the package.  Actually I was surprised that only the lid was broken after looking at the condition of the package that came from China.  teapot5

Obviously a little more care was needed in handling this one and hopefully the claim I put in today will be paid in full.  I am trying to think of ways to repurpose it because the teapot itself is beautiful and it will be used somehow –just have to find the right use.  Teapot

Maybe a flowerpot?teapot3

Jewelry keeper? Teapot 2

Any ideas?  Let me know in the comments and remember it all goes for our June Comments for a Cause.

Favorite chairs anticipating,
No matter what I have to do,
My friends, there’s always time for you.”

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
