Fallin’ on Teapot Tuesday

12 Comments/ 76/ 1

You fell for that title, didn’t you?  What is more appropriate for fall than an acorn teapot?

This teapot came from a huge lot of teapots that I bought on eBay from a woman who was cleaning out her mother’s house.  I was happy to add another fall one to my collection and this little acorn one currently sits on my entry table.

This one has such a nice finish and texture to it, doesn’t it?  The perfect fall teapot.

“He brewed his tea in a blue china pot, poured it into a chipped white cup with forget-me-nots on the handle, and dropped in a dollop of honey and cream. He sat by the window, cup in hand, watching the first snow fall. “I am,” he sighed deeply, “contented as a clam. I am a most happy man.”

Thanks, Darlene. It is definitely fall here judging from the leaves and pine needles on my driveway!

Adorable! Better not take this one out on the porch, the squirrels might try to bury it!
