Plain and Simple on Teapot Tuesday

14 Comments/ 3285/ 1

Sometimes plain is beautiful.  I especially think that this is true with today’s featured teapot.  A pretty white teapot is the perfect teapot to bring to the table when sharing tea with friends, don t’ you think?  This lovely little white number was an inexpensive find at a department store and I love the clean lines and the taller shape. teapot

Anne…. was so pale and tragic at breakfast next morning that Marilla was alarmed and insisted on making her a cup of scorching ginger tea. Anne sipped it patiently, although she could not imagine what good ginger tea would do. Had it been some magic brew, potent to confer age and experience, Anne would have swallowed a quart of it without flinching. ~Lucy Maud Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

I do like that teapot. I agree that sometimes less is more.

I know. Sometimes the best things are the simplest in design. This is an example of that. Thanks for stopping by.

I do love the clean lines and the simplicity, but I especially like the feet on the items surrounding it! hehe!

Those are fun, aren’t they? A Fab find that I could not part with even though I got them to give as a gift. 🙂

I’ve been looking for a simple white teapot, but a sugar bowl with feet? Dang, I need that!

I got the teapot at Homegoods or Marshall’s and the footed set I got from Fab.com. I checked and couldn’t find them on their website anymore but maybe they will bring them back. They are FUN!

A plain white teapot is always so elegant. The teapot that comes with my china is plain white with a thin platinum band around the top. I always get compliments on it when I serve tea for guests. Love the Anne of Green Gables quote. My favourite children´s book of all times!!

Those are my find on Fab.com. I had to have them and there are 3 of them—I think the pic only shows two. They are on my coffee bar and make me giggle when I see them as well.
