Each week, Hilary at Feeling Beachie listing four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. This week’s co-host is Beckey from really, really, real housewives – she came up with the last two statements. Join in the fun and hop over and sign up!
Hilary lives in the area affected by Hurricane Sandy and while she and her husband, Marc, are safe—they have suffered a lot of damage to their home and are without power, internet and phone. Please keep her and the rest of the victims of this storm in your thoughts and prayers.
This week’s statements:
1. Growing up _____
2. Wouldn’t ____ be wonderful?
3. If I hadn’t _____, then I never would have _____.
4. When I _____, I like to _____.
My answers:
1. Growing up is not all that it is cracked up to be at times. Along with it comes stress and things that are not always fun or easy to work through.
2. Wouldn’t a nice fire in the fireplace and a cup of tea be wonderful?
3. If I hadn’t lived in Australia, then I never would have had the joy of having frogs in my toilet and geckos living in my house.
4. When I go on vacation , I like to go with the flow and not always have a planned out trip.

Leave a commentA frog in the toilet. Poor frog.
Haha! Poor me, you mean!!! It was my bum I was worried about having it jump on!
Great answers. Number two would be great right now… I can’t seem to make myself do anything right now but my to do list is a mile long. Starting with the fill ins… Have a great weekend.
My to do list is rapidly growing and not much is getting ticked off it. Guess I had better get off the computer, huh?
Yes a fireplace would be lovely. Snow is flying near us today.
Ugh. Are you ready for it???
Frogs in the toilet? Seriously? I expect none of them were princes.
Nope–had two different ones and as far as I could tell neither one was a prince!!!
Frogs in the toilet? My kids would think that was super cool. I once worked in this old building by Lake Ontario and when the water in the lake would rise, the water snakes would come up through the plumbing and into the toilet. How the….???? no idea.
A cup of tea by a fire would be absolutely lovely!
Snakes would REALLY freak me out. Ugh!!!
Frogs and geckos, I’ve never had those and I’ve lived in Australia all my life.
We lived in North Queensland on the beach …..I guess we got the fun things there!!!!
It is good that you like to go with the flow on vacations as we certainly did last week. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you.
We did kind of have an amended vacation, didn’t we??? Oh well! I still had fun and hope you did too!
Sorry to hear Sandy paid Hilary a visit. Praying life returns to normal quickly, and for strength and patience to get there. I always enjoy reading your responses to these.
I know—it makes me so sad to think of all of the damage. Hopefully theirs is not too bad—-I have been keeping track of her via another blogger friend and it sounds like they are without power, of course, but are physically safe.
