Friday Fun!

20 Comments/ 2468/ 0

This week I am remembering to do Hilary’s blog hop . Check her out at Feeling Beachie.. This week’s co-host is Kipp from Kipp’s Version

This week’s statements:
1. My favorite kitchen secret is___________
2. _____is my favorite flavor of ice cream
3. My favorite pair of ______ finally wore out.
4. If I could just have one more ______.

1.  My favorite kitchen secret is kind of a lame one that everyone knows—I can’t think this early in the day… To get the most juice out of fresh lemons and limes bring them to room temperature and then roll them under your palm on the counter before you squeeze it.

2. Moose Tracks is my favorite flavor of ice cream.  Enough said.  Yum. Lovely ice cream with little peanut butter cups and chocolate swirl…..

  1. My favorite pair of socks finally wore out.  They were adorable.  They had little colorful flip flops all over them and I have babied them along for a long time but alas—wearing just socks ( or more often barefoot) on slate floors does not help the longevity of socks.  I just threw them out this week. Anyone know of someplace I can buy another pair????

4. If I could just have one more piece of scrapbook paper I would be so happy.  I am kind of addicted I think. I don’t really scrapbook but I do make cards and there never seems to be quite the right paper in my stash when I am making cards!!  I would gladly accept donations!  🙂

Please remember to comment this month as often as you want to!!!  I will donate 50 cents for each legitimate comment during the month of April to the National Parkinson Foundation!   Thanks to Hilary at Feeling Beachie and to Java at Never Growing Old for the blog hops today!

Oh, the scrapbook paper is an addition. I agree if I could have one more piece……. My friend Michele is sending a bunch of extra’s she has for me. She bought a bag of the large size papers, 100 sheets for 10 bucks! Then she bought a bag of the smaller sheets for 5 bucks! I want to shop with her!!

I KNOW how you feel about the paper. I get this idea of what I am going do and then either don’t have the right cartridge or what I envision as the right paper. I keep making shopping runs to eliminate that problem!!! LOL I will keep an eye out for those socks. They sound so cute. I love the flip flop themes. It makes me want to beach!

Guess there is something about having them at room temp that brings the juices out?? I guess they aren’t quite so firm or something! Go Moose Tracks!

Moose Tracks is good but my favorite is the Turkey Hill chocolate marshmallow. I don’t think flip flops are at all comfortable–prefer tennis shoes.

Yum, that flavor sounds yummy, too!!! I may have to look it up!!! Tennis shoes are great but I am usually barefoot or in flip flops if it is warm!!! Just gotta find the right ones that are comfy! Or wear them till they ARE comfy!!! LOL
