I Detect a Theme

8 Comments/ 265/ 0

If you look at the picture of this stack of books that recently came home with me from the AAUW Used Book Sale, you will notice a distinct theme.

I love reading books about books, bookstores, and libraries. They are definitely some of my favorite books to read and to enjoy because I love all of those things. So when I was going through the 30,000 or so books at the sale my eyes were drawn to those with those subjects in the title. Now none of these were on my To Be Read list but now they are. They were great finds, I think.

Along with the book theme, I also enjoy books about sisters so a couple of those found their way into my stack of purchases.

Have you read any of these? I would love to hear your review if you have. Stay tuned…much reading ahead and more book reviews from yours truly.

Thanks for popping in today. It’s always great to hear from you so don’t forget to Comment for a Cause for VeDA – Veticular Disorders Association.

Does Maksim like to curl up by you when you read? He’ll be happy with this interesting pile of books! Happy reading! What is “The Chicken Sisters” about?

Looks like a good haul. I’m impressed you didn’t bring home more books than what you did! I also love books about books, libraries and bookstores. Enjoy!

I have a blogger friend who is an author of a series of books whose main character is a librarian…I think. They are fantasy so not my cup of tea…but it’s really cool she has a series published!
