I LOVE Small Town newspapers!

So whilst browsing through the Ashland Times-Gazette this morning I noted the following items in the Police Blotter:

“The City Police Department received a a report last week that  a bag of trail mix was stolen from a vehicle.

In other breaking news last week, a car vs. shopping cart crash was reported in the Walmart parking lot.  Security videos were reviewed to determine the at-fault party.

A man called police to report that he had been carded at Bullshooters even though he has gone there often.  He was advised that it wasn’t against the law for a bartender to ask a patron to show ID.”

I just am reporting what I read…….comments welcome.  I sure hope that caught that trail mix thief….

Old Girls in Low Cotton

This short book was one that looked like it would be a fun read. I honestly did not enjoy it all that much---it was a lot of characters bickering and while some of the writing was witty and funny it was not that kind of book that made m...

An Abundance of Katherines

Another great book by John Green. I have become a huge fan of John Green since my reading of A Fault in our Stars and this book was another that did not disappoint me at all. It was a story of a child prodigy, a lot of anagrams, and a b...
