If I Were A… (Tag Game)

12 Comments/ 62/ 0

Back when I first started blogging I did a lot of blog hop type posts and posts where we all shared a bit about myself. It was fun and an easy way to publish a post. Recently my friend Susi from Sincerely Susi shared a tag game that another blogger friend Leslie (Ink Interrupted) shared here. It was a fun little exercise to do and it made me think about all of those blog hops and fill in the blank posts that I used to participate in.

So for today – go down memory lane with me and enjoy a fun I I Were post. If you have a blog and want to join in just make sure you tag us in it so we can find it when you post. If you don’t have a blog, go ahead and leave me some of your answers in the comments. I would love to read them. Remember to Comment for a Cause – Transylvania Habitat for Humanity.

If I were a month, I’d be… June.

If I were a day of the week, I’d be… Sunday.

If I were a planet, I’d be… Earth.

If I were a sea animal, I’d be a… Starfish.

If I were a god/goddess, I’d be… Hera.

If I were a piece of furniture, I’d be a… fainting couch.

If I were a gemstone, I’d be an… ruby.

If I were a flower, I’d be a… daisy.

If I were a kind of weather, I’d be a… warm and sunny day.

If I were a color, I’d be… red.

If I were an emotion, I’d be… empathetic.

If I were a fruit, I’d be a… kiwi.

If I were a sound, I’d be… soothing sound of the surf.

If I were an element, I’d be… earth.

If I were a place, I’d be a… deserted beach.

If I were a mythological creature, I’d be a… Cat Sith.

If I were a taste, I’d be… sweet.

If I were a scent, I’d be… woodsy.

If I were an object, I’d be… a book.

If I were a body part, I’d be… hands.

If I were a song, I’d be… Happy.

If I were a pair of shoes, I’d be… well worn sneakers.

Oh, what a fun meme! I’d have to do some research on mythical creatures, though!

I have to admit I had to look up mythical creatures myself for this one. 🙂

    A fainting couch! Love it!
I don’t know if there was a category for this- but I’d be a hot tub. A place that made people comfortable and happy.

I’ll answer a few. Green as my favorite color. Vesta, goddess of the hearth (that fits me, doesn’t it?) and also the name of my hometown. September, my birth month and an all-around beautiful month here in Minnesota. Emerald (there’s that color green again). Zinnia or daisy, but probably zinnia as I associate that flower with my mom and childhood and those flowers are colorful and prolific.

What a fun exercise. Thank you!

Loved all of your answers and it does seem you have a green theme which does not surprise me one bit. When I think of you I do think of green, nature and all things lovely.

Right? I guess I am not in those blogging circles anymore that do the blog hops and posts like this but it was fun for one in a blue moon.
