As promised….another from my collection! This set was purchased at an estate auction in Freeport, Illinois somewhere around 1995-96. I fell in love with it even though there were some chips and the sugar bowl handle was totally missing. Someone loved this set a lot! It was not a set that was just set in a cupboard or on a hutch. It was a set that was used to serve tea to friends and family. Maybe that is what drew me to it. I think I paid $20 for the set and once I got it home I loved it even more.
I found this note tucked down inside the teapot. It made me smile because someone obviously wanted the buyer to know that this was a special set and one that deserved love and care. I hope that I have provided that for it!

Leave a commentOh, isn’t that a lovely set? How fun to find the note inside. I’m sure you are giving it a good home. I’m so glad you are sharing your teapots with us.
What a pretty set and how neat to have a note about the age of it. God certainly had a hand at making sure it is in the right place.
