It’s Kitty Time on Teapot Tuesday

12 Comments/ 140/ 0

Teapot Tuesday is going to the cats today with a teapot that I found at a Tuesday Morning shop years ago. I absolutely loved it and the price was right so it came home with me.

It seems that my life has been taken over by not just teapots but kitties at this point. Maksim (you can read all about him here) is settling in really well. He is 3.1 pounds at 11 weeks and growing like crazy. He has yet to win Holly over but if only he would stop jumping on her tail things would be better. She tolerates him for a while and then he pounces. Fingers crossed things calm down a little bit because this mama is tired of playing cat referee. Not really. It’s not that bad but we will be happy when things calm down a little bit.

I don’t want tea,” said Clary, with muffled force. “I want to find my mother. And then I want to find out who took her in the first place, and I want to kill them.”
“Unfortunately,” said Hodge, “we’re all out of bitter revenge at the moment, so it’s either tea or nothing.”

I do love those colors as well. They really pop and it makes the perfect teapot, don’t you think?

What a sweet teapot that includes the nursery rhyme. Sounds like you’re having fun with Maksim. Hope Holly comes around soon. Little brothers can be annoying.

I never had a little brother so I don’t know but I think Holly is just about over him chasing her tail. 🙂 They will both figure it out –hopefully soon!

Thanks, Susi–he is so much fun but poor Holly is not having as much fun when he chases her tail. 🙂

Thanks, Cindy. It will settle down eventually –Holly’s tail is just so tempting to Maksim!

Thanks, Shirley. They will figure it out eventually but sooner would be better than later. This mama is tired!

It is, isn’t it? Books, cats and teapots — my 3 obsessions.
