Lakeside – My Happy Place

6 Comments/ 59/ 0

The next two days (or more) I decided to take the easy way out and just post pictures of my happy place, Lakeside, Ohio. As I shared yesterday my entire family rented a couple of houses and spent the week together following my Mother’s Celebration of Life.

I have a lot of great pictures and a lot of memories, of course, and I want to be able to look back on this post in a few years and smile. So please – enjoy my happy place with me.

One of the houses we stayed in — this was the “big” house. I always admired this house when we would come to Lakeside and finally got to stay in it.

The following picture was one I snapped of my great niece as she played on the dock in a puddle. I thought it was perfect.

One of her dolls might have been partying a bit too hard…

Ohio’s Most Beautiful Mile at sunset.

This was kind of the most perfect thing to see along our walk.

I have so many shots of the flag at the dock. It is one of my favorite views.

Lake hair but a beautiful memory made.

This bunny (can you even tell it is a bunny?) appeared in the front yard of the big house a couple of times. Ir you recall my mom had a bunny collection so we took this as a sign that she was part of our week. Perfect.

I can see why you love Lakeside so much. Beautiful place to be with family. So thankful you had this together time at this special location (in the big house).
