Ma’amalade Sandwich with Your Tea, Your Majesty?

11 Comments/ 161/ 0

I love a good celebration and during recent days I have caught a little bit of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. It has been heartwarming to see some of the tributes and to watch some of the elaborate festivities. But nothing has made me smile as much as the following video that the Queen pre-recorded with Paddington Bear. I just keep watching it. It shows her sense of humor and her wit and is brilliant. I had to search a bit to find the entire clip but it is worth watching if you haven’t seen it. Happy Platinum Jubilee, Your Majesty.

I also had not seen the whole clip. Thanks so much for sharing it. I loved it before I saw the whole clip. I have great respect for Queen Elizabeth and have for many years.

What a sweet video ! Everyone always wonders what Her Majesty keeps in that purse ! Most appropriate ! I also have never heard her speak “informally” As you said, it certainly shows her sense of humor, which must have been a necessity to get her through all these years !
