Miniature Tea Set on Teapot Tuesday

9 Comments/ 71/ 1

Miniature tea sets are another fun thing to collect and I have quite a few packed away in totes under the eaves. I just honestly do not have room for every single teapot (imagine that) so some simply have to be stored.

When we were preparing to move to North Carolina in 2015 I tried to collect all of my miniature tea sets into one area and pack them up myself. It worked well and now if I ever want to put them out I know that they are all hanging out together.

This one is a beautiful one – it is a Wedgewood blue color (although it is not Wedgewood) and is decorated with cute white bows. It actually seems well made and the dainty tea set would be perfect for a little girl to use to play pretend tea party.

Speaking of tea parties today I am excited to be part of a lovely tea party at our Connestee Clubhouse. My teapots are going to be on display and in use for over 100 women and I even get to give a little Tea Talk. I am looking forward to sharing my love of teapots with these ladies and hope that they enjoy what they see. I know the food is going to be amazing so look forward to a post about that next Tuesday.

Who would then deny that when I am sipping tea in my tearoom I am swallowing the whole universe with it and that this very moment of my lifting the bowl to my lips is eternity itself transcending time and space?

Like today’s teapot? Have a miniature tea set of your own? I would love to hear all about it in the comments. Remember that for each comment made on any post this month we will donate 50 cents to our Comments for a Cause recipient – Find Your Anchor. Read more about it by clicking here.

I love this little Wedgewood looking tea set. I know a few little girls who would be delighted to use this. Have a great day. The others will enjoy your teapots and talk. Can´t wait to hear about it.

I still have a couple of saucers and cups from my mini rose tea set my grandma got me when I was young. My daughters each have some from when they were little. I’d like to collect some of the mini Jewel Tea dishes.

Oh fun! How wonderful to have those from your childhood. I never had a tea set that I remember growing up but that is something I have given to my great niece because I think every little girl needs a tea set! Thanks for stopping by!

How wonderful that your teapots will be shared with so many others and that you can talk about your love of tea and teapots.
